Greensburg, In. — Residents are asked to help make Greensburg “Cleansburg” Saturday, April 27.Volunteers, civic groups, church groups, families and businesses are encouraged to gather at the Greensburg Square at 9 a.m. Groups will be organized and deployed to areas of the city for cleanup operations until noon. Business are encouraged to use the day beautify storefronts or improve their location.Please bring work gloves and dress appropriately. The skeletal remains of a human being were discovered in a shallow grave at Marudi mining area in Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo) on Sunday.Based on reports received, the remains were stumbled upon by a group of miners who were excavating the area.Upon the discovery, the Police were summoned to the area. The remains are expected to be transported out of the area as Police continue their investigations.
