Disregarding stereotypes of the big Aussie drinker, young Australian travellers think they have a pretty good reputation overseas, according to a new study.Research conducted by wholesaler, Topdeck found 67 percent of Australians between 18 to 39 think they are seen as laid back, friendly and good humoured while travelling abroad.Eighteen percent believe they are seen as well-travelled and adventurous while only 15 percent recognise their bad reputation for being loud and drinking excessively. The survey also found that surprisingly partying was not high on the list of travel motivations, with drinking and celebrating coming in at fourth on the list of priorities, following sightseeing, experiencing new cultures and bragging rights.
