Trackers drop two games in difficult weekend

first_imgThe Trackers got off to a slow start against the Peace River Royals. The Royals opened the scoring on Friday night 44 seconds into the game. They added three more goals to lead 4-0. The Trackers added a goal of their own with 36 seconds left in the opening frame.Peace River continued their strong play in the second. They scored another two goals, however the Trackers were able to make a small cut into the lead as they put three in the back of the net.Down 6-4 entering the third period, the Trackers kept battling the best they could. They closed to within one 28 seconds into the third, however that would be as close as they would get. The Royals added two more goals before the end of the game to take the 8-5 win.- Advertisement -Scoring for the Trackers were Kohlman Brinsky, Clayton Lepine, Elias Thompson, Levi Johnson, and Nolan Lagace.Sunday’s game was a difficult one for the team. There was no score between the Trackers and Storm after the opening 20 minutes, but Grande Prairie added three goals in the second period, and another three in the third for the 6-0 win.Tavis Veins got the start between the pipes.
